Asha is an exciting five-piece multi-instrumental ceilidh band with a broad dynamic range second to none, ranging from exhilarating tunes with synthesizer and electric guitar to soft lilting melodies featuring flute, violin and melodeon.

 The band’s line-up features Jackie Allen (Token Women) on Violin and assorted wind instruments, Gerald Claridge (Tickled Pink) on Electric and Acoustic guitars, Dave Jolly (Stocai) on Melodeons, Pete Lockwood (Cock & Bull Band) on Keyboards, Saxophones and Percussion and Lynn Swain (Touchstone) on Flute and Whistle.

 Asha have appeared at numerous Folk and World music events, around the country, including the prestigious Cambridge, Sidmouth, Chippenham, Bromyard and Towersey festivals.

The band have a huge dynamic range from driving rhythms to soft lilting melodies, especially when guitarist Gerald Claridge straps on his acoustic guitar and keyboard player Pete Lockwood swaps his synth for some mean and moody saxophone.
